There
will be a special walk this Saturday, September 24th,
to remember beloved neighbor Jim Ballay, who was brutally
assaulted on MacArthur at Loma Vista the early morning
of September 24th, 2004.
As
can be seen from the attached press release, and flier,
he died as a result of his injuries.
His
murder case is open, his killers have not been found.
This was the most senseless, brutal & tragic assault,
and his killers are a threat to any kind of lawful
society.
By
holding this WALK, we hope to bring this to the attention
of the media & also residents who might have their
memories jogged.
Please
meet at the traffic circle at Virginia, Best &
Kingsland, at 9am. The route will take us through
Maxwell Park & along MacArthur, to Loma Vista.
