3rd Annual Day in the Park: Maxwell Park
It’s another year of getting together and celebrating community like no other neighborhood does in Oakland!
- When: September 13, 2008 (Saturday) from 12:00-5:00 pm
- Where: Maxwell Park (Fleming Ave. between Courtland Ave. & Monticello Ave.)
- What: A stage featuring local musicians and other talent, activities for kids and youth (including a bike repair and safety course), yummy BBQ, neighborhood businesses, and neighborhood chit chat
- Why: Because there is no better way to celebrate the diversity of YOUR neighborhood!
Help your neighborhood out... There are some devoted people at work on this event and they need your help. If you can't donate your time, perhaps you're willing to donate $10 or $20 to the cause? Your financial donation will help buy supplies for our kids and youth activities, drinks for everyone to share, and other critical supplies that will make this event happen. ALL money goes 100% towards this event.
