Emergency Supplies Needed

The Maxwell Park Emergency Response Team (MPERT) is seeking donations of emergency supplies. MPERT has eight community emergency supply boxes throughout Maxwell Park with some supplies, but we need to add more supplies. Cash donations can also be accepted (cash only, no checks).

The following supplies are needed; 1-8 of each item:

  • 2-5 gallon collapsible water bottles

  • 4 foot crow bar

  • Four feet long 2x4 or 4x4 wood scraps for blocking

  • Portable power, such as a solar charger, or chargeable battery, any size could be useful

  • First aid supplies

  • Personal protective equipment (goggles, gloves, masks, hand sanitizer)

  • Color identification ribbons or tape (green, yellow, red, and black)

  • Gas meter shutoff tools (PG&E recommends using a crescent wrench)

  • Caution tape

  • Disinfecting wipes and/or bleach

  • Class A/B/C fire extinguishers

  • Hand crank flashlights or flashlights with batteries
