Northeastern campus construction updates: This summer, Northeastern is embarking on several maintenance and upgrade projects across the campus (you may see our construction crew hard at work this summer). While all these projects are limited to the interior to campus, if you have any questions or concerns at any time, please reach out to construction-oakland@northeastern.edu and someone from our team will get back to you.
Ten Oakland seniors awarded Oakland Opportunity Scholarship: For the second year in a row, Northeastern awarded ten Oakland high school seniors the Oakland Opportunity Scholarship, which covers four years of full tuition, room, and board for Pell Grant-eligible residents of Oakland. The current scholarship recipients represent the diversity of Oakland schools, including Oakland Technical High School, Coliseum College Prep Academy, Skyline High School, Cristo Rey De La Salle East Bay High School, and Oakland High School. All scholarship recipients will be invited to participate in the Mills Institute’s Trailblazers Program, which is designed to help first-generation students transition to Northeastern by creating a supportive cohort community to guide them through their first year of college.
